Disney+ has announced the premiere of the long-awaited third season of the series “The one in charge”starring Guillermo Francella.

On July 19, fans will be able to enjoy the first two episodes, followed by a new one every Friday. The series, which is directed by Mariano Cohn, Gastón Duprat and Jerónimo Carranzais made up of seven episodes of 30 minutes each.

In this new installment, the charismatic goalkeeper Eliseo (Francella) faces new challenges at an inter-American convention of managers in Rio de Janeiro. Surrounded by colleagues, Eliseo has a revelation that leads him to found his own company to manage him. However, things will not be as simple as he expected, facing various complications but never giving up.

The plot promises to keep viewers on the edge of their seats with its combination of comedy and drama, and will address current political and social issues through the Machiavellian figure of Elisha. According to actor Gastón Cocchiarale, who plays one of the key characters, this season is “a bomb” and the best of the three.

The cast of the third season includes renowned actors such as Gabriel Goity, Manuel Vicente, Gastón Cocchiarale and Pochi Ducasse. In addition, it has special participations from figures such as Daniel Aráoz, Claudia Fontán, Pepe Novoa, José María Listorti, Alan Sabbagh, Darío Barassi, Benjamín Vicuña and Norman Briski.

Filmed on location in Buenos Aires and Rio de Janeiro, the series continues to maintain its authenticity and connection with Latin American audiences. The scripts are written by Mariano Cohn, Gastón Duprat and Emanuel Diez, with Cohn and Duprat also serving as showrunners alongside Diego Bliffeld and Jerónimo Carranza.
