Although without Kevin Costner, the new batch of episodes of the fifth season of ‘Yellowtone’ already has a premiere date on SkyShowtime
One of the biggest television phenomena of recent times is named after a national park: Yellowstone. And no, it has nothing to do with Yogi Bear. Yellowstone in a classic series, like the ones before, a neo-western that has conquered, first, millions of viewers in the US. and that later won the hearts of other latitudes thanks to platforms such as SkyShowtime in Spain.
He Next November 14th he returns Yellowstone to said platform in what is the second part of its fifth season. However, he makes his appearance without his biggest star, Kevin Costner, who has decided to leave the project and no longer give life to Josh Dutton’s character. The reason: Costner plans to continue with his new western epic, Horizon: An American Saga.
Paramount+ recently announced that the second and final installment of Yellowstone will premiere on November 10. Four days later we will have it on our screensso that fans of Yellowstone have the closure they deserve.
If you have not yet approached the universe of Yellowstonewe put you in precedents. Yellowstone, described by the press as “a mix between Succession, Dallas and Horizons of Greatness”, tells the story of Josh Dutton, owner of the largest ranch in the entire United States, Yellowstone. He and his children engage in an all-out fight against an Indian reservation and against the Federal Government of the United States, which is trying to expand the national park that is next to the Dutton family property.
Yellowstone has two additional series that serve to expand the story. Or, rather, its prehistory. On the one hand we have 1883: in it we can follow the developments of the Dutton family through the Great Plains during the year that gives life to the title of the series; on the other, in 1923with a wonderful leading duo formed by Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren, takes us to, of course, 1923, in Montana, and again we have the Duttons fighting, this time, against Prohibition and the Great Depression.
Yellowstone will delight all fans of great stories, the series full of twists and dealing with themes such as ambition, loyalty and betrayal, and all of this, furthermore, framed in a pure Western setting.
