A teenage fiction with many nods to ‘Black Mirror’

Eight episodes full of tension and effective scares where technology plays a crucial role. red rose it’s a thriller horror set in a high school in Bolton, England, where A group of teenage friends discover a mysterious application installed on their mobile phones. At first, they are enthusiastic about the challenges that the app offers them, but their attitude changes drastically when these challenges begin to endanger their lives, leading them to fear for their personal safety.
This application comes into their lives six months after the suicide of a high school classmate. Rochelle Mason (Isis Hainsworth), the protagonist, lives tormented by this event and their summer will turn into a terrifying nightmare because of what seemed like an innocent game.
The Serie has received a 100% rating from critics in Rotten Tomatoes, which positions it as a perfect series. However, viewers do not think the same and rate fiction at 53%. If you are a fan of Sex Education and of Black Mirrorit is likely that the combination of both will excite you. On the contrary, you will have to watch the series and decide if you are on the side of the critics or the audience.
