Hosted by Javier Poza, this thrilling adventure features 24 contestants who will face the most extreme challenges of physical and mental survival in wild and remote locations on the beaches, mountains and forests of Turkey in search of the coveted prize of $200,000.
All of them will have to share day by day, isolated from their outside world, in a competition where losing everything is just the beginning, and where drama, alliances and betrayals will be the order of the day.

The Island: Extreme Challenge It will have 24 participants who will form three teams, including Los Águilas, Los Tiburones, and Las Panteras. Each week, the teams will begin competing in the game for the territory that will determine what conditions they will live in that week, either Playa Alta with all the amenities, Playa Medio with few amenities or Playa Baja without any amenities. Throughout the week, they will be competing in numerous games to achieve salvation, captaincy, advantages, punishments, adventures, as well as nomination, among others. Participants who are not nominated will vote to choose who will be eliminated from the competition each week.
Javier Poza, who recently joined Telemundo to host The Island: Extreme Challenge, is a renowned Mexican radio and television personality known for his interesting and relevant interviews. Poza began his successful career on radio and then gave way to television presenting and participating in a variety of programs.
