“I wish you good luck [a mis compañeros]”

What was announced came true. Last night, after the controversial finale of the ninth season of The Lord of the heavens –the last one in which its protagonist participates, Rafael Amaya–, Telemundo confirmed through a promotional video that the story continues in 2025 with the Casillas dynasty.

“In 2025, a new era begins. Get ready, the story you love continues,” the network announced.

It is a continuation of the successful franchise in which the heirs of the Casillas, including Rutila (Carmen Aub) and Ismael Casillas (Ivan Arana), they will take control of the family legacy.

“Rutila, this season we cried, we suffered, we hit rock bottom and we came out on top. What’s next for us?” Aub asked on her Instagram profile. “Thank you all for everything.”

A few months ago, Amaya, who has more than 3 million followers on Instagram, announced that she had decided to close her cycle in The Lord of the heavens with the ninth season. “[Estoy lleno de] pride in the evolution of the character, as well as the series over the last eleven years,” he said. “I’m ready for a new chapter in my career.”

The actor says goodbye to the superseries but wishes “good luck” to his colleagues in this new era that is about to begin next year with the premiere of Casillas dynasty.

“I wish them the best of luck,” Amaya told People en Español.
