Caterine Ibargüen won her first test on ‘MasterChef Celebrity’ and gave Alejandro Estrada a harsh punishment

The competition in ‘MasterChef Celebrity’ continues to advance and celebrities show off their cooking skills every day to surprise the judges of the ‘reality show’. In chapter nine of the program they had to make a dish of Russian origin called ‘kulibiak’ and there were some who did not fare so well.

Claudia Bahamón informed the cooks that they had three minutes in the pantry to select the ingredients for their dish, and that I would have 60 minutes in the kitchen to deliver a good final product.

Whoever won this challenge had the option to choose three mystery envelopes, in which two were advantages and There was another one with a negative result, and who none of them wanted to choose.

The first to come to the lectern was the athlete Caterine Ibargüen, she prepared a dish that she called ‘Russian empanada’, this had yellow rice, oil with annatto and egg; apart from that he made a mayonnaise sauce.

With this dish she managed to captivate the judges, being the winner of the creative challenge, although at the beginning everything seemed bliss, she had to choose one of the three envelopes and the information on them was as follows: remove a black apron, hand out an immunity pin and give a black apron.

These were the options that the Olympic medalist had, and she chose the least positive, since she had to put a black apron on one of her teammates. Although she was quite affected by making this decision, she chose actor Alejandro Estrada.

“I’m going to put it because I know that person cooks well and can get away with it if they reach an elimination challenge. That person is Alejo Estrada,” commented Ibargüen.
