Through social networks, a video went viral in which a priest attacking flight staff at the Peru airport because the flight attendant refused to change his seat.

The events occurred at Jorge Chávez airport, located in Miraflores. According to versions collected by local media, the events occurred when the priest was traveling to the town of Tacna, in the south of the country.

Apparently, the man had asked a flight attendant to change seats on the plane and when the woman refused, he decided to attack her and attack her.

The quick reaction of the other people on the flight prevented the priest identified as Carlos Silva Canessa from seriously attacking the woman; However, in an altered state he was removed from the plane and There he hit other people who provide security services at the site.

“You’re touching me. For justice and reconciliation,” this man is heard saying as he tries to be controlled at the door of the plane.

After saying these words, the man again tries to hit a woman who is there waiting to board the plane. After several seconds, they manage to separate him and take him to the authorities.

The airline regretted what happened: “Latam strongly condemns the attack suffered against one of our collaborators last Thursday, in which security personnel, following corresponding protocols to the treatment of disruptive passengers, they requested the disembarkation of the person”.

In the same way, the Nuestra Señora de Fátima parish issued a statement indicating that Father Silva Canessa “was involved in an unfortunate incident when boarding a national flight, verbally and physically attacking some Latam workers, including a woman. ”.

“We will take the corresponding measures and collaborate with the authorities in everything necessary and we will assume the consequences of this painful incident,” the statement adds, and specifies: “we will do everything in our power to prevent similar situations from being repeated in the future”.
