As planned, this Friday the farewell of the sanjuaninos who died in Europe and whose news caused a great impact in the province. It was in the wake rooms of Santa Lucía, where the remains of Emiliano Pennice and Noelia Maldonado They received their final goodbye before a crowd that accompanied the moment.

The presence of people at the moving wake was so great that many were left outside the rooms where the urns containing the remains of the couple who lost their lives after being involved in a road accident in Luxembourg were located, on their return to France.

The urns arrived in the province around 11 in the morning and then, with an improvised accompaniment, they were transferred from the Domingo Faustino Sarmiento airport to the rooms located on Balcarce street, right next to the Santa Lucía municipal cemetery.

The wake was held from 1 to 3 p.m. and then the remains were taken to a niche in the cemetery so that they could finally rest together in peace, just as their families had planned. The mothers of the young people who embodied the tragedy, Mónica and Lía, like Daniel, Emiliano’s father, according to close sources, were very close to their children and were an example of strength for the rest.

The tragedy unfolded on Sunday, March 31, when the girl died instantly and the young man was hospitalized. However, a few days later he died from his injuries. A third occupant of the car, Juan Francisco Díaz, also from San Juan, survived the fatal crash and is currently recovering.

Since that moment, those close to the victims’ families expressed their pain through social networks and today a good part of them said present in the emotional goodbye for the young adventurers who had decided to live in France and dreamed of building a better future. , until fate took their lives.
