Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkovsaid this Monday that The United States could face “fatal consequences” if it ignores Moscow’s warnings not to allow Ukraine to use weapons provided by Washington to attack targets inside Russia.

Ryabkov was referring to the president’s decision Joe Biden last week of approve the use of weapons supplied by the United States to attack targets inside Russia involved in attacks against the Ukrainian region of Kharkov.

“I would like to warn American leaders against calculation errors that could have fatal consequences. For unknown reasons, they underestimate the severity of the counterattack they may receive,” Ryabkov was quoted as saying by the Russian state news agency. ESTUARY.

Ryabkov referred to comments made last week by the president Vladimir Putinwho said that the countries of the NATO They were playing with fire and risking deeper global conflictone of Moscow’s warnings about the risk of serious escalation.

Putin’s new threat

“I urge these personalities (in the United States)… to dedicate part of their time, which they apparently use in some type of video game, in view of the lightness of their approach, to study in detail what Putin said”Ryabkov declared.

Putin had launched “a very significant warning and should be taken with the utmost seriousness”he added.

The head of the Kremlin stated that The West would be directly involved in any use of its weapons by Ukraine to strike deep inside Russia, as such attacks would require its satellite, intelligence and military help.

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenbergdeclared last week that NATO had the right to help Ukraine defend its own right to self-defenseand that this did not make NATO a part of the conflict.

The Ukrainian president, Volodymyr Zelenskydeclared over the weekend that kyiv was grateful to Washington for allowing it to use the rocket systems HIMARSsupplied by the United States, in the region of Kharkov, but this was not enough. Ukraine has long maintained that restrictions on the use of Western-supplied weapons seriously limit its defense capabilities.

Russian news agencies quoted Ryabkov as saying that kyiv’s attempts to attack Russian early warning radar systems would be thwarted and that Moscow could respond asymmetrically to such measures.

A kyiv intelligence source stated last week that a Ukrainian drone had attacked a long-range radar which, located inside Russia, is part of the Russian early warning system to detect if it is being subjected to a nuclear attack.
