Russian troops continue to advance in the northeastern Ukrainian region of Kharkovoffensive by which several NATO countries, including the United States, authorized Ukraine to use its weapons against targets in Russian territory, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported this Monday.

Russian forces repelled five counterattacks by Ukrainian assault groups in the vicinity of the towns of Liptsi and Vovchansk, according to the military department.
