Russian troops continue to advance in the northeastern Ukrainian region of Kharkovoffensive by which several NATO countries, including the United States, authorized Ukraine to use its weapons against targets in Russian territory, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported this Monday.

Units of the Sever Group (North) “continued their advance” between enemy lines in Kharkiv, the daily Defense war report noted.

Russian forces repelled five counterattacks by Ukrainian assault groups in the vicinity of the towns of Liptsi and Vovchansk, according to the military department.

In addition, they caused casualties to three Ukrainian brigades in the vicinity of the towns of Neskuchke, Graniv and Konstantinivka.

The units of the Západ Group (West) “occupied more advantageous positions and caused casualties” to two Ukrainian brigades in the town of Zagoruikivka (Kharkiv region) and Stelmajivka (Donetsk).

United States and Germany On Friday, they gave kyiv the green light to launch attacks on Russian territory with the weapons supplied by those NATO countries, joining other allied countries such as the United Kingdom, the Baltics and Scandinavian countries.

Of course, these Ukrainian attacks must be limited to hitting military installations across the border in Kharkiv and will never be able to use long-range missiles against other targets.

The Russian president, Vladimir Putinhad threatened Europe with “serious consequences” if NATO countries allowed Ukraine to hit military facilities in Russia.

The objective of the Western authorization is to stop the current Russian offensive in Kharkiv, where Putin assured that he seeks to create a “security zone” to prevent enemy attacks against the Russian border regions.

For his part, the Russian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sergei Ryabkovsaid this Monday that The United States could face “fatal consequences” if it ignores Moscow’s warnings not to allow Ukraine to use weapons provided by Washington to attack targets inside Russia.

“I would like to warn American leaders against calculation errors that could have fatal consequences. For unknown reasons, they underestimate the severity of the counterattack they may receive,” Ryabkov was quoted as saying by the Russian state news agency. ESTUARY.

“I urge these personalities (in the United States)… to dedicate part of their time, which they apparently use in some type of video game, in view of the lightness of their approach, to study in detail what Putin said”Ryabkov declared.

Putin had launched “a very significant warning and should be taken with the utmost seriousness”he added.

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenbergdeclared last week that NATO had the right to help Ukraine defend its own right to self-defenseand that this did not make NATO a part of the conflict.

The Ukrainian president, Volodymyr Zelenskydeclared over the weekend that kyiv was grateful to Washington for allowing it to use the rocket systems HIMARSsupplied by the United States, in the region of Kharkov, but this was not enough. Ukraine has long maintained that restrictions on the use of Western-supplied weapons seriously limit its defense capabilities.

Russian news agencies quoted Ryabkov as saying that kyiv’s attempts to attack Russian early warning radar systems would be thwarted and that Moscow could respond asymmetrically to such measures.

A kyiv intelligence source stated last week that a Ukrainian drone had attacked a long-range radar which, located inside Russia, is part of the Russian early warning system to detect if it is being subjected to a nuclear attack.
