As if it were a scene straight out of a horror movie, this was the experience that a family lived in New Smyrna Beach, Florida (United States), when their dog started barking intensely in the middle of the night. They thought it was a ghost.

In an interview with News 6, Martin Brenner said that his dog started barking towards the pool, right at 2:00 in the morning. The dog looked extremely anxious, which made his family nervous.
When they approached to see what it was about, They noticed that it was not a ghost, but a 3 meter alligator.
Immediately, Martin called the Police to help him, because the reptile did not want to leave the pool.
“I was surprised how he came in. Didn’t break anything or cause damage, just pushed a piece of mesh”Martin commented to the media mentioned above.
The authorities arrived at this home accompanied by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission (FWC) to try to remove him from the pool.
For Martin it was very strange that the alligator had entered his house: “We couldn’t understand what had attracted it, but we had a kitten that had escaped and we don’t know if that’s what happened.”
How did they manage to get the alligator out of the pool?
Environmental authorities used a special device to stun the animal and thus remove it from the pool.
