The Colombian, 40 years old, lived in Florida (United States). She wanted to divorce Knezevich, but the “separation was contentious” because the man “did not want to divide the marital estate equally with the victim,” an FBI agent stated in a court filing.

To take a break, Henao undertook the trip to Spain in December 2023, with “a lot of fear of Knezevich”, since she believed that he “was watching her”.

Now, The Prosecutor’s Office accuses the foreigner of arriving in Spain to allegedly kidnap her.

On February 2 at 12:05 pm, a few hours before his wife disappeared, the Serb was in a store. There he bought a can of spray paint and two rolls of duct tape. He was wearing a black jacket and scarf.
