Sánchez arrived on a Spanish Air Force plane to Zurich and from there he traveled by car to the hotel complex near Lucerne that hosts this summit. Already at the meeting venue, she greeted the host, President Viola Amherd, and hugged the president of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky.

Shortly before him, Milei arrived at the summit, arriving in the Swiss city from the Italian town of Borgo Egnazia, where he participated in a summit of the Group of 7 at the invitation of the Italian Giorgia Meloni.

The President of the Spanish Government will speak this Saturday in the plenary session of the summit, which will last until Sunday. That day there will be three parallel discussion tables: one on nuclear security, another on food security (in which Sánchez will participate) and a third on humanitarian issues.
