The world is awaiting the official visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin to North Korea. It is the first in 24 years. The Israeli Army claims to have “approved” and “validated” the operational plans for a military offensive in Lebanon. A plan that has been given the green light, on the same day that the main White House mediator in the conflict between Israel and the Shiite militia Hezbollah, Amos Hochstein, landed in Beirut. According to the military statement, as part of the assessment of the situation, operational plans for an offensive in Lebanon were approved and validated and decisions were made on continuing to increase the readiness of troops in the field.
