According to what was reported by the station, the invitation of the Holy thirst arrived a few months ago via email, from the Vatican’s Dicastery for Culture and Education.
According to Paloma Salas, “the email said ‘The Dicastery for Culture and Education does not have a budget to offer travel and accommodation services.’ The expenses and organization necessary to attend the event will be borne by the guests.We know very well what this means, but we hope that this will not be a difficulty in having you there,” said the comedian.
Defends pedophiles
Although at first he thought it was a scam, after finding out more he found out that it was a real invitation, however, he decided not to attend due to financial issues and differences with Pope Francis.
The Chilean comedian argued that “I still went to see the tickets and all that, I understand that the joke of having gone to see the Pope is much better than the joke of not having gone.”
However, he asked himself: “Am I really going to spend $4,000 on go see a person who spends his time defending pedophiles and who has not said enough about Palestine?”.
