For its part, the psychology area approached several transporters who They presented symptoms of anxietyafter several days stranded waiting for the pass to reopen.

“The hospital brought two nurses and the psychology graduate helped us, because some are a little anxious and depressed, especially those who have been here for almost 10 to 12 days. Most pathologies have been high blood pressure, diabetes, bronchitis, pharyngitis, sinusitis”explained the director of Arenas Raffo, Carlos Panza.

And he added: “What caught our attention the most is that Most of them are diabetics and do not know, and hypertensive, that they don’t know either.”

In the following days and to the extent that the preventive closure of the passage to Chile continues, the health areas that belong to the Ministry of Health of the Province will continue to provide care to truckers in the designated stops that include the route of National Route 7 .
