Tel Aviv opens the doors to 180 architectural sites at an Open House on the weekend of May 23

From May 23 to 25, an event called Open House Tel Aviv will take place. It is the seventeenth annual edition of this event that seeks to revalue the city’s architectural attractions.

During that weekend, the public will have free access to 180 sites where tours, meetings and talks will be held in community spaces, public buildings and private homes.

Ron Huldai, the mayor of Tel Aviv-Yafo, said that “this year, more than ever, the concept of ‘home’ is loaded with new values. Since October 7, many Israeli citizens have not lived in their homes. Security forces, both regular and reserve, have spent long days away from home. Thousands of evacuees have found a temporary home in the city of Tel Aviv-Yafo, where they have been received with much love and support. Despite this, and perhaps precisely because of it, we decided to hold Open House, Israel’s largest and most important architecture event, to reveal all the elements that make Tel Aviv-Yafo a home, highlighting the good things about it. place and the people who make it up, and to remember why we fight. Enjoy and feel at home.”
