Tomorrow, Friday, June 28, the neighborhoods of Recoleta, Retiro and Microcentro are preparing to receive the first edition of the Gallery year, a cultural event that transforms Buenos Aires into a vibrant scene of contemporary art. With the support of the City’s Ministry of Culture, Gallery invites Buenos Aires residents and visitors to embark on a tour of galleries, museums and artists’ workshops, highlighting the excellence of the local artistic offering. This large free event has been showing first-hand the best of the local art scenes for more than two decades. Tomorrow the first of the year begins.

From 4 to 8 p.m., the public will be able to enjoy for free an experience that connects directly with the creative heart of the City of Buenos Aires. This initiative seeks not only to promote Argentine contemporary art, but also to bring it closer to all interested parties in an accessible and dynamic way. Gallery 2024 will begin its tour through Retiro, Recoleta and Microcentro, and then continue in Palermo, Villa Crespo, Chacarita and Paternal on Saturday, September 14, and culminate in the emblematic neighborhood of La Boca on Saturday, November 2.

The event not only offers the opportunity to explore galleries and cultural spaces, but also participate in guided tours and architectural tours led by experts. In addition, it culminates with a musical show at the Isaac Fernández Blanco Museum of Hispanic American Art, thus complementing a day dedicated to celebrating the diversity and creativity of art in the City.
