- The initiative is part of the Córdoba Literacy Commitment, designed to guarantee better learning in Language and Mathematics.
- At the same time, teacher training workshops are held.

The Ministry of Education delivered books for early childhood for three-year-old classrooms, in an event held in Plaza Cielo Tierra, within the framework of the Córdoba Literacy Commitmentone of the priority educational policies of the current administration.
At the inaugural meeting, more than a hundred teachers, directors, supervisors, technicians and authorities joined together to improve the pedagogical intervention focused on developing readers from the age of 3, through training sessions.
The meeting was part of a series of 10 planned workshops, which seek to reach 700 educational institutions, which will receive a total of 10 thousand books for children, kindergartens and nurseries. The initiative is developed in conjunction with the Provincial Reading Plan.
At the opening, the Minister of Education, Horacio Ferreyra, delivered literary books to three gardens in the city of Córdoba: CEEI Dr. Ramón J. Cárcano, Paula Albarracín de Sarmiento and Sargento Cabral.
The official provided an expanded literary collection to the Rosarito Vera Peñaloza Municipal Pedagogical Library, thus representing what will be carried out in all the pedagogical libraries of the province and in the provincial teachers’ library.
The distribution of bibliographic material is accompanied by a reflective theoretical meeting around key axes: beginning of literacy; care bonds and books; selection criteria for quality books; reading environments, with voice and gaze; and significant teaching practices: 3-year-old girls and boys, booktubers.
During the week, around 300 literary collections will be distributed, involving 1,450 books for kindergartens under provincial state, municipal state and private management.
“From the Ministry we continue to redouble our efforts for literacy. The commitment is that all boys and girls reach third grade, being able to read and write, developing the fundamental capacity of orality, reading and writing.«said Minister Ferreyra.
And I add: “We take on the challenge of starting from an early age and that is why rooms 3, 4 and 5 will constitute those spaces where literacy begins.«.
Along with the person in charge of the educational portfolio, the Secretary of Education of the Municipality of Córdoba, Alicia La Terza, was at the opening; the Undersecretary of Institutional Strengthening, Claudia Maine; the General Director of Initial Education, Marisa Carranza; the General Director of Learning and Professional Development of the Municipality, Susana Amancio; and the coordinator of the Provincial Reading Plan, Luciana Trocello.
Also accompanying the launch were the general director of Educational Welfare, Juan José Castellanos; and the deputy director of Participation, Rights and Community, Marcos Griffa.
