Daniel Prieto, head of the AHRCC, during the presentation of the book “Los Bares Notables”, at the Book Fair.

Daniel Prieto, president of the AHRCC, highlighted that “behind the concept of Notable Bars there is a tjoint work between the public and private sectors which has been going on for many years. In this book there are many things to rescue, but above all there is great work by an entire team and a lot of history that we want to share.”

The book brings together the historical, architectural, artistic, social and cultural singularities of the bars considered “notable” and that are part of the cultural heritage of the City. Presents 14 neighborhood circuits to know them and enjoy them. The publication aims to celebrate and publicize these spaces that are part of the Buenos Aires soul.

The closing of the presentation was performed by Marili Machado and the pianist Leandro Marquesano with their show “Homenaje a los Cafés de Buenos Aires”, where they performed the songs: Cafetín de Buenos Aires, Café la Humedad and Viejo Café Tortoni.
