(ACIPrensa/InfoCatlica) Mrs. Antonia Acutis, mother of Blessed Carlo Acutis, shares in her book My son Carlo: Carlo Acutis through the eyes of his mother revelations about the special relationship that her son had with the Virgin of Fatima. This special request was received by Carlo through a mystical vision, accompanied by important messages from the visionary shepherd children. In this work, the author offers revealing details about these events, providing a unique vision of the spiritual life of the blessed.

The thread of events begins during a procession in a church when Carlo was around 8 years old. Antonia relates that her son experienced an extraordinary moment: the Virgin of Fatima seemed to stop in front of her and place her heart on her chest. She relates that the Mother of God entrusted Carlo to consecrate himself to the Heart of Jesus and to her Immaculate Heart.

In another context, Antonia remembers the last trip she took with Carlo was in 2006, shortly before his death. They visited Portugal and Spain together. In Fatima, they had the opportunity to meet Father Luis Kondor, in charge of the cause of canonization of the holy shepherd children Francisco and Jacinta, who received the apparitions of the Virgin of Fatima in 1917.

During this visit, the priest presented them with an exhibition with unpublished photographs of the apparitions and the three visionaries. Antonia states that her son perceived several important signs during this encounter, thus deepening her spiritual connection with the saints and the Virgin.

One of those days, Carlo had a dream in which he met Francis, who entrusted him with the mission of making reparation and sacrifices so that people could love and honor the Eucharist more.

Previously, in 2005, shortly after the death of Sister Luca and his departure to the Father’s House, Carlo experienced a revealing dream. In this dream, the nun transmitted a significant message intended for humanity, leaving a deep impression on young Carlo and his spiritual commitment.

She told him that practicing the first five Saturdays of the month could change the destiny of the world, his mother states in the book.

This devotion involves performing acts of piety during those days with the purpose of repairing the sins committed against the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

Finally, his mother highlights that the young blessed used to say: Every time we turn to the Mother of God, we put ourselves in direct and immediate contact with heaven. It’s almost like we walked in. And it also said that we turn to Her knowing that She is Omnipotentia supplex (omnipotent to intercede). Her intercession is assured. His intervention is taken for granted. His prayer is infallible.
