  • Cybercriminals seek to capture personal and financial data.

Bogotá, DC, April 25, 2024

The National Tax and Customs Directorate (DIAN) alerts citizens about the circulation, in the last few hours, of a false URL that seeks to impersonate one of the pages of the entity’s web portal, with the aim of capturing personal and financial data of citizens, with possible criminal purposes.

The fake URL is being sent through social networks and instant messaging applications. It appears with the address https://www.dian-co-go.com/ and is only displayed on mobile devices to ask citizens to check their account status with the DIAN. When users write their ID number, the page displays false information about supposedly pending tax obligations.

The DIAN is carrying out all the corresponding actions to collect the evidence and report the case to the authorities, with the aim of having said page blocked urgently.

For all of the above, the entity makes the following recommendations to citizens:

  • Avoid entering the DIAN web portal through links you receive in emails or messages.

  • To enter the DIAN web portal, always type the address
    www.dian.gov.co in your browser bar.

  • Constantly confirm the URL in your browser’s address bar and make sure it is correct.

  • Review the SSL security certificate, located before the URL, in the address bar.

  • When a suspicious incident of cybercrime occurs, report it to the virtual CAI of the Police
    https://caivirtual.policia.gov.co/

  • Learn about the information security recommendations on the website:
