To better explore these trends that are setting the tone in the labor market, the Mercer firm carried out a study in which More than 12,200 high-level executives, human resources managers, employees and investors participated.

Precisely, one of the focuses of the research was the recruitment of talent and those factors that drive the feeling of prosperity in the work environment.

What makes the difference

The report highlighted that there are five dimensions that condense what really makes a difference for employees: financial stability, psychological security, sense of purpose, digital training, and skills development and job security.

Regarding the financial field, the workers who participated in the study highlighted the opportunities offered by the company in which they work in relation to health and retirement. On the psychological level, for its part, They indicated that they value being able to make decisions independently and express yourself openly.

Regarding the digital issue, employees see having access to tools that are in line with the technological forefront, as well as having a predominantly digital culture, as key elements.

Other aspects that make a difference to them include that their work contributes to their life purpose and that their place of employment helps them keep their knowledge up to date.
