He already has his own apartment, a new car, his own office and collaborators under his command. How do I achieve it? When did it start? Management spoke with the young businessman to learn about his beginnings and his projection on the peruvian market.

I studied at the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru. In 2017 I started selling bread with chicken to find sources of income.

When I was 18 years old I researched imports from china. My mother advised me to go to the Center of Lima and talk to the Chinese who were located there.

I sold at the university technology products Chinese, low price, such as headphones, cables, chargers. A cable cost me S/ 2 to S/ 3 and I sold it for S/ 15, headphones cost me S/ 3 and I sold them for S/ 15 or S/ 20, that’s how I started to make my first capital.

He earned between S/ 3,000 to S/ 4,000 a month. But, after a few months I started to have competition, and I thought I had to expand to all of Lima and Peru. I researched about creation of web pagesads in social networksFacebook Ads, because I saw what small companies were advertising and I wanted to do it too.

In 2017 I made my website, in WordPress, in Shopify. I woke up early several days. I learned about ads and invested money. I made capital and continued reselling products from the Center of Lima.

In 2018, I was back and forth about leaving college. I made my first importation of products of technology by plane. A small import of approximately US$500.

In 2019 I decided to move on my own and hired my first workers. In 2020, the pandemic arrived and I didn’t do activities for two weeks. When the curfew was extended, I started selling masks. I made my first import by shipI brought masks with a container.

I had a problem because I didn’t submit some permits and I lost a lot of money. I was a little in debt with the bank, I owed S/ 70,000, but I paid it; It took me about two years, but I stuck with it. entrepreneurship.

Many people were also starting out and there was a lot of competition, unlike in 2017 or 2018. I saw that I had to innovate because everyone was selling online, in the same way. In 2021 to 2022, I saw new ways to differentiate myself in the market to earn more.

Before I only sold for photos or promotions, but I made videos, I practiced with my brands and the products I had. I used other platforms and complemented them with AI in video creation; I also incorporated AI tools for customer management. In turn, I developed AI applications.

In 2023, I made a couple of artificial intelligences They gave me some money, but not large amounts. I sold, but not as much as with the online stores. I’ve done more research since it came out. ChatGPT.

I am sure that in the United States there is first-class knowledge. If you want to stand out you have to know English and learn from AI.

Last year, I learned, researched and developed an app in charge of generating books, but it was not very successful.

After that, I also developed a AI with software called GoHighLevel, which allows you to develop online stores. I did well with this application because I complemented it with my courses and now my students use it.

I started generating money by subscription. They paid me for the course and I taught them how to use my application.

  1. Market research: I teach you to research and choose a specific niche, in addition to your interests, your tastes; including the pros and cons that they can. They must also take into account the certain experience they have in some areas. That’s an advantage unlike others.
  2. Creation of an online store: create and automate an e-commerce platform, in such a way that it does not require much time in management.
  3. Video editing: It is important to create videos because that will attract people’s attention, it generates trust and it is important to entertain the viewer.
  4. Imports: I teach the steps of importing from China and other countries. The applications they can use and the profitability it can generate.
  5. Social media advertising– We create advertisements or campaigns on Facebook Ads and Tiktok Ads. We analyze the reach and metrics that are generated with the content that has been created
  6. Artificial intelligence: I teach and provide AI tools that help boost and facilitate sales for a business.

I consider these steps to be essential to have a good business. Obviously, you have to learn more, but it’s very good to start with.

If it is sold online, but not imported, there is probably not a good cost, nor good margins. If you sell online and you don’t make good videos, you won’t reach a good audience or have engagement either.

I had students who were selling and, after a month, they started selling S/ 2,000 to S/ 3,000 a day. They had to stop their campaigns because they were getting out of hand. All I teach are tools, but what is quite important is choosing what to sell and how to differentiate yourself in the market. If you don’t find a good offer in the market and you are going to sell the same thing as everyone else, it is difficult for your business to grow.

Statistically, one in four Peruvians sells something, informally or formally. It’s a great challenge because you have to be better. Before, you just offered someone a product and they bought it. Now you not only have to offer the product, but also generate trust, have the support of a website, upload videos to be more transparent, appear in your videos. Have greater added value.

I have a team of 11 people with whom we see my businesses. I am also dedicated to textile production because I have an online store of clothing and sneakers, I make the garments in a workshop in Gamarra and I import sneakers and sandals from China because they have good prices.

As for the imports, I am trying new products such as electric motorcycles and advertising panels. Last time I brought about 100 panels and now I’m bringing 500 more because they sold quickly. So I’m testing new products and opening other types of businesses.

I am also developing a AI which will serve to help my students look for winning products, to help them look for items that are trending, that sell more in other parts of the world.

I am opening a store for sell iPhone with my partner. We will open the physical store next week in Jesús María. We plan to open another store in the next 3 or 4 months.

Now we have a lot of demand with the video we published because more than 12,000 messages arrived. We are selling a lot.

We have negotiated well with a iPhone provider refurbished in the United States. The first investment we have made is US$10,000. Now, we are doing another double import because we have several orders. People have booked and we are growing quite quickly.

I plan that my personal brand grow because I want to make videos in other parts of the world. I have to leave my projects running and I am planning a trip to China for October because a business opportunity was presented to me there; Then I will tour Europe. I want to show that a Peruvian like me can do it.

I didn’t finish my degree in Economics, but what I wanted to achieve upon completion, I already have. I was thinking of having a car and starting to buy an apartment. Now, I already have an apartment paid for, I have a car, I have an office.

I also want the community to grow globally. I consider that the imports They will provide greater income immediately because Peruvians are consumers of physical products. They are not very used to subscriptions or buying software, but in 5 or 10 years, the AI and developing applications with it will generate a lot of income.
