The BMW M3, one of the spiciest and most successful sedans on the planet, returns to Argentina after a long break.

This four-door sports car is imported from Germany in a single version (M3 Competition Sedan M Race Track) that costs $244,900.

Like the M4 Coupé, it has a 3.0-liter, biturbo (six-cylinder) gasoline engine that delivers a power of 510 horsepower and 650 Nm maximum torque; associated with an eight-speed automatic transmission and paddles on the steering wheel, which transmits traction to the rear wheels.

With this mechanical assembly, the BMW M3 is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds and reach a maximum speed of 290km/h (electronically limited).

To further elevate its sporting lineage, the model inherits much of the development of the BMW M4 GT3 that competes in different international championships.

Furthermore, the oil pan has two separate chambers and an integrated suction channel, which ensures a reliable oil supply even during strong lateral and longitudinal accelerations.

Aesthetically, it is characterized by having incorporated the XL kidney grill inaugurated at the launch of the Series 4. Also notable are the fenders with air vents, the prominent side spoiler, the carbon fiber reinforced polymer roof, the forged wheels with double spokes of 19” on the front axle and 20” on the rear part, the two pairs of exhaust outlets and the carbon rear spoiler, among others.

The interior, for its part, has carbon front seats that allow part of the headrests to be removed to provide more space for the helmet, in case of sports use. Its structure inspired by racing cars also allows the use of competition belts with multiple anchors.

In terms of comfort and technology, we highlight the 16-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, the wireless charger, the three-zone climate control with solar and fog sensors, the Head Up Display that projects vital information on the windshield, and the BMW Live Cockpit Professional , which integrates the 12.3” digital dashboard and the 14.9” central display on the same screen, fully configurable and with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.

On the other hand, in terms of safety, it offers six airbags as standard (front and front side, and curtain), front and rear parking sensors with emergency braking function, collision sensor with active protection, tire pressure control. tires with puncture warning and active differential, among other devices.

While it also has a driving assistance package composed of adaptive cruise control with Start&Go function and traffic sign detection; autonomous emergency braking with pedestrian, cyclist and vehicle recognition; lane keep assist with steering intervention; and front and rear cross traffic alert with braking function, among others.
