Madrid, June 10 (EFECOM).- Banco Santander announced this Monday that Zinia, its digital consumer financing platform, will finance the installment purchase of Apple devices in Germany, both in the brand’s own stores and in the multinational’s website, thanks to an agreement.

In a statement, the bank details that Zinia will offer customers who purchase Apple devices the option of deferring their purchases by dividing the total amount into installments (3, 6, 12, 18, 24 and 36 months) or deferring payment 30 days later. of shipping (online) or after picking it up in store.

Additionally, as part of the launch of this agreement, in the coming months, Apple customers who finance an iPhone with Zinia will be able to do so in 12 or 24 interest-free installments.

Zinia is part of Digital Consumer Bank, which brings together the Santander group’s consumer financing business and provides financial services in 16 European countries through more than 130,000 associated points of sale.

Since 2022, Zinia has been present in Germany, offering different financing solutions (buy now pay later and payment in installments, among others) and in the coming months it will continue its expansion in the economic locomotive of Europe and in other countries of the Old Continent.

In the specific case of the agreement with Apple, Zinia will allow the technology company’s customers an “agile, intuitive and secure” user experience to finance an iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, Mac or any other device in Apple stores or in the Apple Store online in just a few seconds.

To complete any transaction, customers only need to provide their phone number and date of birth, confirm receipt of a security code and follow the quick validation process by accessing their online banking within the Apple online store. EFECOM
