The reappearance of credit, the promotions carried out by brands and the bonuses given by sellers, made the black numbers stabilize a little. And it is in that scenario that The terminals maintain their schedule of launches and redesigns for the remainder of this 2024. Beyond the new models and generations already confirmed that will mean a reconfiguration of the range of several segments, the companies also confirmed updates They are coming at full speed.
Although some of these models have already been officially presented in other countries, the rest are awaiting some type of official communication. Below is a list of what has just arrived and the most important ones that are confirmed for the remainder of the year.
At the close of this edition, the Japanese automaker announced the arrival of the legendary crownthe first model produced in series by Toyota since 1955. It is in its 16th generation from Japan and, as expected, with a new hybrid engine system composed of a turbocharged engine combined with two other electric ones (one in the front axle and another on the rear axle), associated with a 6-speed automatic transmission and e-AWD all-wheel drive that reaches a maximum combined power of 349 HP and a maximum combined torque of 550 Nm
Another one that has just been presented is the sports coupe GR86, which incorporated Brembo brakes with red four- and two-piston calipers for the front and rear wheels respectively, new ZF Sachs shock absorbers, EyeSight technology that brings together various driving systems and more. As for the mechanics, it continues with the 2.4 L 4-cylinder boxer engine, which produces 237 HP at 7000 rpm and 25.5 kgm of torque at 3700, associated with a six-speed manual gearbox and rear-wheel drive. The German automaker has several restylings in the pipeline for this year. First of all, the new T-Cross, whose images correspond to the European variant, but which already allow us to have an idea of the changes with which it will arrive in the country in the first days of July, after its presentation in mid-May in Brazil. Already presented in Brazil, the modifications are at a glance: total front redesign, divided headlights and larger grille. The only thing that changes on the side is a black plastic protection for the Activ version and new headlights at the rear.
The interior is where the most substantial changes are: new multimedia screen integrated into the instrument panel, everything 100% digital, new glove box, air outlet, climate control and steering wheel controls. The internal linings were also modified, which change color and will have aluminum inserts. At the same time, modifications will also be made to the Onyx, which would follow the Spin in terms of changes to the cabin and will also undergo modifications to the grill, headlights and bumpers. What stands out most about this restyling are the changes in the engine, which would have new electrical components and an improvement in the 1.0 turbo, which would leave behind the 116 HP of power to go up to 125 HP.
