Loan’s grandmotherCatalina Peña, spoke exclusively with TN and shared his anxieties and suspicions about his grandson’s disappearance. Sitting at the same table where the 5-year-old boy ate for the last time before he disappeared, she recounted what that was like. lunch which also included five of the people who are detained today.

According to Peña, José and his son Loan arrived without warning that morning: “He came as a surprise, I wasn’t expecting him for the meal, but he never tells me because he doesn’t have a cell phone. The grandmother contacted Victoria to confirm if she had seen the child on the way back: “I called Victoria to see if she had seen him on the way and she said no.”

Regarding the presence of other guests, Peña commented: “My daughter invited Ramírez and Millapi, they came with their nephews. They say they didn’t fight with him and said he ran forward. Ramírez came the previous Sunday because he wanted to eat wood-fired locro.” He added with resignation: “I don’t expect anything from Ramírez, the creature that was lost, was lost.”
