The price of gasoline will have a slight decrease between five and seven cents nationwide for the next fortnight and the new reference prices will be in effect from June 25 to July 8.
The regulatory entity indicated that the cost of premium gasoline will have a decrease of five cents nationwide, with the price per gallon in the central zone being 4.19 dollars, in the west 4.20; and in the eastern zone of 4.24.
Likewise, the regular liquid will decrease seven cents with a reference value of 3.94 in the central zone, 3.95 in the western zone and 3.98 in the eastern zone. Meanwhile, diesel will have a slight increase per gallon of two cents nationwide.
It will be the fifth fortnight that prices have fallen after a sustained increase that made fuel almost one dollar more expensive since January of this year, something that is attributed to the rise in crude oil prices due to tensions between countries due to geopolitical conflicts, including war. between Russia and Ukraine, the conflict between Hamas and Israel, among others.
