Scott Sports has announced the addition of Hap Seliga as president of Scott USA, the US subsidiary of Scott Corporation. Seliga will work with teams located in Salt Lake City and Ogden, Utah, to drive growth in the US market and strengthen Scott’s position as a leader in the outdoor industry.

Seliga, a manager with vast experience

Hap Seliga has extensive experience in the bicycle and outdoor industry. He co-founded leading US retailer Competitive Cyclist and later suspension innovator Trust Performance. Following Backcountry’s acquisition of Competitive Cyclist in 2011, Seliga held various leadership roles at Backcountry and Specialized. Most recently, he led Signa Sports United North America’s bicycle division as CEO.

Seliga’s arrival at Scott USA marks a new chapter for the company, which looks to consolidate its leadership and expand its influence in the competitive U.S. cycling and outdoor products market. With his extensive experience and strategic vision, Seliga is well positioned to take the company to the next level.
