From Telecinco they have had access to the statement that he made before Judge María del Monte (62 years old) and his wife Inmaculada Casal (60 years old), a totally heartbreaking story which reveals different aspects, among which the difference in treatment received by the assaulted women stands out.
The singer has already stated on several occasions that she fully trusts in justice. In fact, she did not want to make any type of statement about the alleged involvement of her nephew. Antonio has been considered by the authorities as the alleged mastermind of the robbery of his aunt’s home, which is why he has been imprisoned since last February, despite the fact that he continues to declare his innocence and fighting to get out of prison.
The heartbreaking confession of María del Monte
The Telecinco program wanted to exclusively broadcast some of the statements that the assaulted women made in front of the judge handling the case. For this you have to go back to last August, a hot summer night in Seville that the singer and her family will not be able to forget for a long time. At this point she asks the judge to go back to her to ask for every detail of what happened, as well as her memories of it.
“That night around 4:30 in the house there was a noise that I didn’t hear. It wakes me up to see Inmaculada trying to get someone out and shouting ‘what are you doing, what are you doing?’” the video about that fateful night began. Both have revealed in statements the distressing moment in which they tried to open the safe and couldn’t. In fact, the assailants screamed because Inmaculada’s daughter could not open it. For her part, the ‘Cántame’ interpreter explained that even they mixed up the safe with a small refrigerator that was red, which they opened to corroborate that what María was telling her was true.
“They can’t open the box, I’m starting to notice that they are getting more nervous. The girl has locked the box, she heard it. That’s where I’m starting to feel panic. “I get up as best I can,” says the Andalusian. “I take the key to the safe, hand it to him and give him the combination. There is someone who turns to me and says: ‘You have three minutes to open the safe or I’ll take the girl and kill her,’” he added. At that moment her nervousness took over.
“I couldn’t open the box because of the tension. I had two behind me telling me: ‘Open the box.’ I asked them to leave because otherwise I wouldn’t be able to open the box. When I open it, this man places a kind of sports bag on the floor. When you release it it sounds like metallic things. When I opened the box my mind only thought: ‘And now that?’“, he pointed out with fear.
