The reaction of Raffaella di Girolamo’s lawyer to Cristián Campos’ interview

In conversation with CHV, Raffaella’s lawyer responded to certain excerpts from Campos’ interview with LT, like when he assured that “Rafaella tells me ‘I’ll call you, because I had a flashback and discovered that I was also abused by my stepfather.’ “The stepfather was me.”

In response, Di Girolamo’s defender assured that “There are several contradictions in the things he says. That’s one, obviously. On the one hand he says that he was informed of all these details a long time ago, and on the other hand, when he found out about this, he says that he does not know what it is about.”

And the alleged abuse would have happened when Rafaella was between 13 and 17 years old, in the 90s. The psychologist is now 46 years old.

“I am struck by a certain lack of empathy on his part, lack of empathy with his children, in general about the situation. Serious things clearly happened here, if serious things had not happened, it is not understandable that this would have been done,” the lawyer added.

Although they are seeking to have the actor declared guilty, the defense outlook is difficult. And sexual crimes committed against minors are imprescriptible from July 2019 onwards. That is to say, The actor would not have any judicial sanction if it is proven that he actually abused Raffaella.

“I’m not going to be able to imprison him, but how can it not be healing for a judge to investigate and say, ‘this was true’? (…) Faced with that, I obtain the greatest satisfaction that a person can have, which is recognizing their quality as a victim.”Hermosilla declared.
