According to Hola.com, the heir to the British throne spoke with children and grandchildren of British heroes, where one of the girls asked him about his daughter Charlotte, who turned 9 years old at the beginning of May.

“Charlotte is at school, she has exams”he confessed about the second of his three children.

William also said that the girl “wasn’t looking forward to this morning” due to the school obligation she had to fulfill. “Hopefully everything went well,” she said.

His conversation with the veterans also led William to refer to his wife’s ancestors, specifically Valerie Middleton, Kate Middleton’s grandmother.

“She was reminding everyone how her grandmother served at Bletchley, so she had quite a bit in common with some of the ladies here,” he recalled.
