Still smiling, lightly tanned and wearing a flattering fuchsia Mango dress, Telma Ortiz has returned to the scene to support his partner Robert Gavinat the presentation of his new book The fourth estate, a text on international geopolitics. Little friend of cameras and spotlights, she has seemed relaxed and attentive to the writer’s words.
The event was held at the Cultural Area of the Corte Inglés in Callao and Telma was accompanied by her great aunt Marisol Alvarez del Valle, sister of the deceased Menchu. Let us remember that Gavin is Irish and was in a relationship with Sharon Corr, the singer of The Corrs, until he met Telma. Together they have a girl named Erinwhich is the Anglo-Saxon word for Eire, Ireland in Gaelic.
Before starting the event, Gavin said that he had been a little late because his “wife” had helped him minutes before to “comb your eyebrows” to go out on stage. Some words that made the audience laugh.

Gavin confessed that Telma Ortiz has read his book “and he liked it a lot,” although he acknowledged that he prefers to write alone and took advantage of the moments when he was not with her to advance his work. «I have written on trips many times, when I had time, like in airports, trains, hotels… When the time comes to write it is better to be alone, you have to focus a lot.»
Travel has always been his source of inspiration. «I have seen things when I was traveling that interested me, that I didn’t know, and it makes you think that the world is not fixed, it is always changing. It led me to mix ideas, imagination with facts as a type of fiction, I thought it was interesting and I started writing. In a short time I had the book done.
Robert Gavin did not want to comment on The Royal Familyalthough obviously there was no shortage of questions about his sister-in-law, the Queen Letizia. “This is a red line and I do not cross it, I do not talk about the in-laws for obvious reasons.” The presentation of her book coincides with the Queen’s cooperation trip to Guatemala. «If I say something, I have already said something, so I better not say anything. “You can use your imagination.”
