In fact, recently, Palma opened her heart to confess what it has been like to live with this complicated disease, revealing the hard times she has gone through and how the support of her family helped her.

This could be seen during the closing of the second edition of the Valledupar Book Fair, where Linda was invited to talk about her book, Life is prettyand have a conversation with journalist Luz Andrea Gómez, where she revealed unknown details of what it is like to live with multiple sclerosis.

At some point when I had my relapse I was not able to bathe myself.my parents had to feed me, tie my shoelaces and when God gives you the opportunity to enjoy those things again, you become aware of how important they are, I always thank God for being able to do that, we don’t know how long we will be here and how nice to be able to enjoy life, impact people and not get bitter,” the presenter commented in the dialogue.

Regarding her illness, she added that, “I am super brave because I was able to get ahead and I had the support of my parents and my husband, but I was aware that it depended only on me.”

During the talk, he recalled the relapse he had in 2016, which, according to him, made his life a before and after.

I can say that I am a Linda Palma before 2016 and a Linda Palma after. I always try to let go of things and if they happen the way I wanted, well, if not, well, and that’s definitely not life.“said Linda Palma.

The presenter took the opportunity to mention the lessons that the disease has taught her, stating that “I am happy to meet new people and be in different spaces because at some point I did not have the opportunity to savor things, at some point I could not walk well and when I wake up and thank God for those things, I really enjoy my life, being grateful for everything I have, when you are grateful for the simplest things in life you are filled with love and happiness.”
