Although the John Wick saga is going to take a break, its universe continues. Ballerina will arrive next year with new guests to the saga, among which stands out Norman Reedus. The American actor will debut in the killer franchise in style, although it seems that his time on the set has been anything but peaceful.

In an interview with the American media Collider, Reedus revealed that he really enjoyed the choreography, but at the same time he suffered all kinds of injuries and bruises due to the enormous amount of acrobatics and movements he had to perform.

It is a very physical, complete job, and I arrivedneed an anti-inflammatory every day. It was painful. I just got back from Budapest, where we added more fight scenes. So I went from Japan to Budapest and back to Japan. It is high performance. It’s a great story, it’s well acted, it’s visually stunning, but it’s like bang, bang, bang, bang, bang.”

During the same interview, the actor expressed his great respect for Keanu Reeves, ensuring that he greatly admires the actor’s commitment in preparing for the role in each and every one of the films starring this deadly killer.

Ballerina, along with The Continental, will be the first project in the John Wick franchise not to be directed by Chad Stahelski, although he has been closely supervising production. Furthermore, this will not be the only spin-off of the franchise, since at the beginning of the year the director reached an agreement with Lionsgate to carry out more projects related to the universe starring Keanu Reeves.
