Last Monday, Mexican artists Cristian Nodal and Ángela Aguilar confirmed their relationship with some romantic photos that caused a stir on social networks.

After weeks of rumors and after her separation from Cazzu, Nodal has found a new love, the young 20-year-old singer, daughter of Pepe Aguilar and granddaughter of the legendary Mexican singer and actor Antonio Aguilar.
After hearing the news, José Antonio Aguilar, better known as Pepe Aguilar, sent a warning to those who interfere in the relationship between both Mexican artists.
“I’m not going to be stuck between the boyfriends and the girlfriends. The only thing that matters to me is that he is physically well and if someone hurts them I would have to intervene,” she said.
Aguilar asked for respect for his daughter and his partner and indicated that otherwise he would have to interfere.
“Zero violence and zero abuse because then you mess with his entire family. You know who I am, I’m not just a singer, you know me beyond that. It doesn’t mean that I’m a mafia member, but I can defend myself,” she stressed.
The rain of criticism towards the two artists has not been long in coming, and the confirmation of their romance comes two weeks after Nodal announced his breakup with the Argentine singer Cazzu, with whom he has a daughter.
“It is not a new relationship, it is the continuation of a story that life made us pause so we could grow and miss. Because when we let ourselves go, when we returned we were more ours,” commented Ángela in the Hello medium.
After the controversy, the interpreter of ‘Of the kisses that I gave you’ spoke out on the matter, requesting respect for his new partner and defending his relationship with the Mexican singer.
In the reel shared from his official Instagram account, Christian assured that “I know that many found out that Angela and I officially have a relationship. And since they hardly like gossip or making up stories, out of respect for my ex-partner, my daughter and my current partner, I wanted to go out and give them a little context.”
However, far from being carried away by the comments, Nodal and Aguilar decided not to hide their romance and showed their love at a concert by the singer.
The Mexican was invited by his girlfriend to his last concert to perform the song ‘Tell me how you want’, a song on which they collaborated in 2020.
The single tells a story in which a rancher (Nodal) tries to captivate a young woman (Aguilar) who resists and reminds him that he is not accepted by his family.
Precisely in the show the artists changed a part of the song: “Angelita, don’t be so bad anymore,” he says, while she responds “and don’t be so flirtatious,” in the original lyrics.
In the show, Nodal says: “Angelita, why are you so flirtatious”, to which she responds: “because you are my boyfriend.”
