The years pass, but the foundations of the Crown remain unchanged. This is what emerges from the seven images that the House of HM the King has distributed on the occasion of the tenth anniversary of the proclamation of Philip VI. In them you can see the King sitting at the desk that Juan Carlos I occupied for 39 years and in front of the portrait of Carlos III that Antón Rafael Mengs painted in 1761 and that Don Felipe ordered to be placed in his office after his proclamation before the Cortes Generales on June 19, 2014, when he presented himself to Spain and the Spanish people as a King who embodies “a renewed Monarchy for a new time.”

Where he has faced vicissitudes of a political, economic, health and also institutional nature, always with a copy of the Constitution nearby and flanked by the flags of Spain and the European Union, symbols of unity, permanence, harmony, solidarity and consensus.
Ten years later, Felipe VI has not changed anything in the offices where he works, where he spends more time than in his own home.
