Robert De Niro’s great films revived at the Tribeca Festival

The talk between De Niro and Tarantino took place on Friday afternoon with the screening of Jackie Brownthe third feature film Quentin Tarantinofrom 1997, featured Robert De Niro in the role of the recently released convict, Louis Garaand the director of Pulp Fiction praised his performance.

“I’ve seen the movie with a lot of different audiences and they always respond so much to how out of it and high you are when they’re trying to talk, when they’re having the whole meeting about exchanging money. You are trapped in the telephone cord and you realize that there was a comical scene in there. You played it like a comedian. I think it was a situation where you said, ‘Oh, I can do a little more here. I can do my thing while they do the narration,’” the director highlighted.
