Don Omarone of the greatest exponents of reggaeton, recently revealed that he suffers from a complex illness. The singer was diagnosed with cancer, as announced through his Instagram account. Despite the seriousness of his situation, “The King of Kings” showed notable optimism about his recovery.

In his publication, the interpreter of Kuduro Dance shared a photo of a hospital tape in Orlando, United States. Accompanying the image, she wrote: “Today yes, but tomorrow I won’t have cancer” and I add: “Good intentions are well received. See you soon. #fuckcancer (“let the cancer rot”)”.
Thousands of “King of Kings” fans expressed their solidarity with messages of encouragement. Among the notable comments were phrases such as “We are with you, king“, “Don, you will be the winner… A great fighter” and “That is the attitude, the mind controls the body. Lots of faith and keep going with the whole process, blessings. Praying for you”.
In the midst of this situation, Daddy Yankee, another reggaeton icon and former rival of Don Omar, also showed his support. Using his Instagram account, the former reggaeton player, now religious, cited a Bible verse to send strength to his colleague. “My Lord and God, I asked you for help and you healed me” he wrote, quoting Psalms 30:2 from the Bible. The “Big Boss” closed his message by tagging the historic reggaeton player and adding: “Come on warrior!”.

In a recent post on Instagram, Don Omar told shocking news about his diagnosis. “Today I woke up cancer-free and grateful. Thank you for your good wishes, prayers and thousands of messages. My operation was a success and now I have to recover“said the reggaeton player.
