Comedian Coco Legrand announced his definitive retirement from the stage after facing a complex health problem a few months ago that led him to cancel all his presentations.
At the end of March the comedian set off alarms by revealing that suffered severe vertigo. According to his wife, Magdalena Julianto MON, the symptoms began after a plane trip, but as the hours passed they worsened so he ended up in the emergency room. “Very dizzy, vomiting and very unbalanced”he explained.
Given this, the comedian was left on medication with a special diet and was already feeling well. However, his wife revealed that “He is prohibited from going on stage for a long time”.

In a recent conversation with Alfredo Lamadrid, Coco Legrand spoke about the health problem she faced and also confirmed her definitive retirement from the stage.
“It has been a strong time and moment in my life, because I suffered from vertigo that drove me crazy. Twice in my life I have had that big vertigo problem, but this second time was the strongest,” explained Alejandro Javier González, the comedian’s real name.
“It was very hard for me, especially because the dreams I had, what I wanted to do, somehow disappeared.”, he confessed. “Because today is a special day for me, a day that my body needs to give and thank people for all their love and how they have responded to me after 77 years of age,” she explained.
The comedian told what his plans were after his retirement, detailing that he wanted to spend time with his family.
“I am only going to dedicate myself to being and traveling with my wife to all places, first of all in this country, from Arica to Punta Arenas, to be able to see and be in all the places where I was working. Just go like anyone else. Enter and be able to see these hotels, those places,” he said.
“Tour this country and then go out for a walk to all the countries we can reach“added the comedian.
Along the same lines, he explained that “What I want is to give myself time for myself, for what I want to do and where I want to travel and how I want to be able to move around the world.”.
To close the conversation, Coco Legrand confirmed that “never again (I am going to act again), because I have already fulfilled all my duties and also with the public that was supportive of me”.
