After a week spent in the Mater Dei Sanatorium, Lucia Galan She received a medical discharge this Wednesday and was able to return home to continue her recovery after undergoing surgery for a premalignant cyst in your pancreas. The news was confirmed on the singer’s networks, by her daughter, Rocío Hazán Galanand on the Pimpinela duo’s Instagram.
For those who were not aware, last Wednesday Lucía uploaded a video to her social networks in which she confirmed that she was going through a difficult time with her health and announced that she was about to have surgery. And in the following days, after her intervention, both her and Pimpinela’s networks revealed details of her painting.
This is how this Wednesday morning, a week after her surgery, the singer’s daughter uploaded a story with a tender photo with her mother and wrote about it: “Hello, good morning. I wanted to tell you that Mom is now home to continue her recovery.. Thank you for all the messages and support.”
In turn, on the Pimpinela duo’s account they uploaded a photo of the performer, with a beautiful landscape in the background, and next to that postcard they announced: “We want to tell you that luckily Lucía is now home. “Once again we thank you for all the love and support you have given us and as always, we will keep you up to date with your recovery.”
Lucía Galán revealed details of the health problem she is going through
“Hello, how are you all. I wanted to personally give this message so that you can have the news first-hand“” the artist began by saying in the video she uploaded to her Instagram account last Wednesday, when she announced her diagnosis.
“Last year in Madrid, having a CT scan due to a bronchial infection, (the doctors) they miraculously made a discovery“Galán revealed to his 358 thousand followers.
Then, he detailed: “They found a premalignant cyst in my pancreas. An exhaustive follow-up was done throughout this time and the conclusion reached is that I have to go to surgerythey have to cut the tail of the pancreas, which is where I have the cyst, attached to the wall, it is a mucinous cyst, as the doctors call it, and this is to prevent pancreatic cancer.
“This was a miraculous discovery, that despite how difficult it is going to be to go through this, I thank God that they detected it in time“said the singer. And she added: “I am going to be in surgery at this momentaccompanied of course by my family, by my daughter who comes from Madrid”.
