Prime Video’s Fallout introduced us to the most diverse characters, but if we had to choose one, we would undoubtedly choose the Ghoul

Several months have passed since its premiere, but Fallout remains one of the most watched series currently on Amazon Prime Video. The adaptation of the Bethesda video game has been enormously successful, and one of the great beneficiaries has been Walton Gogginswho has increased his fame thanks to his role as the ghoul.

However, at first, the actor was not entirely comfortable with the role. Through an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Goggins said that, although he loved becoming the ghoul every day, he at the same time hated the routine of putting on the prosthetics.

“For the first two days I felt deeply insecure about having no expression. After each take, I looked at [Jonathan Nolan] and I would say, ‘Does any of this work?'” Goggins said. However, this routine caused the prosthetics to almost become a “superhero suit” for him, which meant that when he began his performances as Howard Cooper felt uncomfortable for not wearing makeup.

“I’m an actor, they’re prosthetics. Let’s face it: it’s not torture. What surprised me the most was the first day I played Cooper Howard. I was only in the chair for five minutes, but when I got out, I suddenly felt like I wasn’t wearing my superhero suit. I felt very vulnerable, to be honest, because you get used to this barrier between you and the world, and it was very easy to be in the Ghoul’s head. Once they took off the prosthetic, it was difficult for me to be at first. a civilian.”

The ghoul was one of the great protagonists of the first season, but during the second he will be one of the great stars. According to the showrunners in interviews, Cooper’s story is far from over, so we will see much more about what happened to him during the 200 years that he was wandering the Wasteland. fallout.
