It’s been 4 years since Alejandro Fantino no longer has his father on this plane. Jorge Fantino had fought for several months but unfortunately, he could not win his battle and he died at the age of 77. Since then, the driver misses him very much, but the birth of his son Beltrán this year made that absence felt even more.

And while he was excited thinking about all the happiness that Jorge would have felt upon meeting his grandson, he chanced upon a video that brought him back to the present time.

“Only the magic of life can make it so that after 52 years, these images of my father Jorge making me play in the square of my town, San Vicente, reach my hands. Thanks to my aunt Tere, my dad’s sister, thanks to Hugo Vaudagna (her husband) who in 1972, with a camera, captured that eternal moment of a dad playing with his son,” she wrote alongside the video.

“Everything happens for a reason and this comes bathed in the tenderness of Beltrán and Nahuel, my beautiful children. There was that gringo from the village, giving love and making happy a son who still today feels and lives every shared moment. I hope they see themselves represented in these seconds and my tribute goes to each of their parents, whether they have them physically or not.”
