Since its founding in 2019, Inter Miami has been on a progressive rise, which increased exponentially with the arrival of Lionel Messi. His arrival at the club has generated a rain of income for Las Garzas, with pink t-shirts sold all over the world, sold-out tickets for home matches and the arrival of really important sponsors. For this reason, on his 37th birthday, co-owner David Beckham did not forget to thank the Argentine star for everything he generated, with a very special gift…

Through his personal Instagram account, the renowned former British player greeted Leo with a tender message that said: “Happy birthday to the best, my friend.” However, all eyes were on the particular gift she had given to La Pulga.

It was a powerful bottle of red wine from a winery in Mendoza, province of Argentina, located very close to the Andes Mountains and created 102 years ago. Your name? Catena Zapata.

A few seconds after launching his post, David received thousands of comments about the powerful gift given to Leo and, also, the own response of the 10 albiceleste, who wrote a heartfelt ““Thank you very much David!”

David Beckham’s new football project at Inter Miami

With women’s soccer on the rise, the co-owner of Las Garzas announced that the institution will also bet on this discipline in the near future as it did at the time on men’s soccer. “We are looking to form a female team in Miami,” he said in conversation with Variety. Immediately afterwards, he quickly marked the field and explained that the new project does not have a date yet. “It’s been a difficult few years. We have a lot of things to do. But that’s our plan,” he said.

It should be noted that, some time ago, the former Manchester United footballer admitted that, when he landed in the United States back in 2007, he felt a little “envy” of the women’s teams. “When I moved to Los Angeles I wouldn’t say I was jealous, but I was a little envious of how big women’s soccer was here,” David Beckham acknowledged.

At the same time, he recalled what he felt when he saw that, unlike other geographical points, in those latitudes the most professional performance was for women. “I was passing by different fields and there were a lot of young girls playing. And I thought that was the level we had to reach,” she recalled.
