Because of this, Morán will remain hospitalized and at complete rest for at least eight days.

The singer, 55 years old and originally from Caluma, province of Bolívar, had presented symptoms after his last concert at the Capitol Theater in Quito. Although he is reported to be stable and in good condition, his condition will require medical care and rest to fully recover.
