The complaint was made by Maria Cristina Chaveswife Guillermo Alberto Muzlera (Mariana’s father) and visually impaired, 82 years old, who She is accused of alleged crimes of theft and fraud related to an alleged withdrawal of a large sum of money: 95 thousand dollars.

Mariana Muzlera was denounced for allegedly withdrawing on May 19, 2021 the large sum from a joint account that her father shared with María Cristina Chaves. These funds, according to the complainant, represented the savings of a lifetime and came from the sale of an apartment owned by the couple.

The situation worsens given that Guillermo Muzlera, Mariana’s father, has been admitted to a nursing home since June 2021 due to advanced cognitive deterioration. which began to manifest itself in 2019. Chaves, meanwhile, faces this situation with deteriorating health and a visual disability that forces her to be constantly accompanied.

In addition, Chaves denounced the employees of Banco Macro who authorized the withdrawal of the money for how the procedure would have taken place. As can be read in the complaint, Tini’s mother would have withdrawn the money that was in an account that was not her property and then she would have brought the ticket signed by her father to the banking institution allowing the withdrawal, but once it had been carried out the withdrawal of money. However, From the bank they explain that this movement was allowed due to the emergency situation due to the pandemic that was experienced at that time.

The complainant claims Mariana Muzlera the return of the 95 thousand dollars, plus other sums of money: one and a half million pesos for moral damage, one million pesos for psychological damage and 192 thousand pesos for psychological treatments. Also, Tini’s grandfather’s wife requests 3 million pesos to Banco Macro for punitive damages.
