The world of cinema and entertainment dresses in mourning again, this time, to say goodbye to one of its biggest Hollywood stars: Bill Cobbswho died at the age of 90, according to his publicist Chuck I. Jones and his family.

Nine days after celebrating his 90th birthday, the actor, who had a long career spanning more than five decades, died at his home in the Inland Empire in California, in the United States.
“We are saddened to share the passing of Bill Cobbs. He passed away peacefully at his home in California. “He was a beloved companion, older brother, uncle, surrogate father, godfather and friend, recently happily celebrating his 90th birthday surrounded by his dear loved ones,” says the statement issued by his family and his publicist:
For its part, the Broadway community mourned the death of the actor: “BroadwayWorld is saddened to learn of the passing of Bill Cobbs.”
Cobbs shared the big and small screen with several legends of the artistic world such as the singer Whitney Houstonwith whom he acted in the emblematic film ‘The bodyguard’tape from which the musical theme became popular ‘I Will Always Love You’.
Other films in which he has participated have been: “Night at the Museum,” “Fear Basement,” “Demolition Man,” “The Wonders,” “Oz,” “Buddy the Superstar Dog,” “The Last Gift” and “Never Again.” ”.
His career was not limited only to cinema, as he also spent part of his career on Broadway, where he worked as an understudy in Black Picture Show and The First Breeze of Summer, both in 1975.
Seven years later, he understudied the role of cutler in the original Broadway production of the play August Wilson Ma Rainey’s Black.
