The other face of the moon will be a comedy-drama set during the historic Apollo 11 moon landing in 1969. According to the official synopsis: “The film follows two-time Oscar nominee Scarlett Johansson as Kelly Jones, a marketing specialist hired to drive the historic moon landing of NASA’s Apollo 11 mission. In the middle of the plot, romantic entanglements develop in the office with Cole Davis, the launching director played by Channing Tatum. As the countdown progresses, Jones is challenged with the task of arranging a fake moon landing as a backup measure, heightening the tension of the narrative.”

Regarding the creative cast behind the scenes, the film was directed by Greg Berlantiknown for his work in Under the same roof (Life as We Know It – 2010) and I am Simon (Love, Simon – 2018). The script, for its part, was written by Rose Gilroy (The Edge of Sleep), based on the story of Bill Kirstein and Keenan Flynn.
