This May 7, the University Electoral Simulation was carried out in which more than 100 institutions around the country participated. The objective of the exercise was to obtain a representative sample of what the young vote could be like on June 2, the day of the presidential elections in Mexico.

The University Electoral Simulation consisted of installing symbolic boxes in the different schools and inviting the students to share their vote on a ballot inside a ballot box, just as in the elections organized by the National Electoral Institute, each person was able to mark the ballot secretly.

Each university released its sheet after counting the votes and after computing a little more than half and adding the total, the results were as follows:

In this University exercise, Claudia Sheinbaum obtained 65% of the votes, Jorge Álvarez Máynez 22.2%, Xóchitl Gálvez 7.7% and 5.2% of the participants canceled their vote (X/@SimulacroMX)
